This notice explains how ProStrike Decorators handles the personal information you share when you get in touch about decorating work.

What we collect
When you contact us by phone, email, WhatsApp, Facebook, or in person, we collect only what you choose to share — typically your name, your contact details (phone number and/or email address), and details about the work you'd like done, such as your address and a description of the project.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your information solely to respond to your enquiry, provide quotes, and carry out any work you go on to instruct. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and, once you become a customer, performance of a contract with you. We do not use your details for marketing, and we never sell or share them with anyone for marketing purposes.
Messaging services and email
If you message us through WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger, those messages are also handled by Meta Platforms under their own privacy terms. Emails are handled by our email provider. We use these services only to communicate with you about your enquiry.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to deal with your request. Where you become a customer, we keep records relating to the work and payment for as long as required to meet our legal and accounting obligations (generally up to six years), after which they are securely deleted.
How we protect it
Your information is held securely on our own password-protected phone, computer and email account, and is accessible only to us.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how we use it. To exercise any of these, just contact us using the details above and we'll respond.
